AAWWR’s Rate Structure
(Effective November 10, 2021, Per NH PUC Order Number 26,547)

Monthly Rate

The Monthly Rate is the minimum charge for receiving and transporting of sewage from the Customer’s premises, subject to the Terms and Conditions of the NHPUC Tariff.

Rate-billed monthly in arrears
Residential: $11.09
Commercial: $308.12

Sewer Rates

Volumetric charge - $14.68 per 100 cubic feet of consumption of water service as metered by the Water Company (100 cubic feet = 748 gallons)

Explanation of Charges

Sewer Usage and Base Charges – Billing services for Atkinson Area Wastewater Recycling, Inc (AAWWR) are provided by Hampstead Area Water Company, Inc (HAWC). Your sewer bill is based on your water use, as all water ends up flowing into the sewer system.

Service Call Fees

An example service call is sewer back-up. If the problem originates in your home before it reaches the main sewer line, AAWWR is not responsible for the fees associated with repairs. Any equipment or parts required to perform repairs, if necessary, will be changed separately. AAWWR does not provide plumbing services.
